The interim District Executive Minister (DEM) team serves a critical role within the District. They guide, counsel, and encourage District and local church workers in the development of vital and well-balanced church programs. They understand and provide guidance on Church of the Brethren polity and procedures.

The interim DEM team’s duties include:

• Facilitating pastoral placement
• Encouraging congregational health and vitality
• Supporting ongoing credentialing of ministers
• Providing spiritual support to pastoral leadership
• Working with the Leadership Team to discern the vision and mission of the District
• Providing input related to the District’s finances and property
• Promoting unity and cohesion within the District
